A. Yes, a Bathing Suit, Towel, Sunscreen, and a sense of adventure. You will also need to provide your own transportation to and from the dive sites and have your lodging prearranged if you are on vacation.

 Q. If I am on vacation, is this a class that I can sign up for?

A. Generally, it is a good idea for individuals on vacation to take private classes. With private scuba classes, students can learn at their own pace, personalized to individual needs. The students will need to furnish their own personal scuba gear and we include everything else.

Q. What makes Fun 2 Dive Scuba different from the other scuba shops in the Orlando Area?

A. There are many reasons; here are a few high points.

1. Safety First is really the single biggest statement that stands out.

2. Most of our Instructors have been diving since the mid 70's and some of the Instructors have logged over 12,500 dives.

3. We own Several Dive Charter Boats that enable us to dive daily. This makes our diving experience a step above the normal scuba shop.

4. At Fun 2 Dive our students can try various equipment during their scuba class without making any purchases and see the difference for themselves.

Other ordinary scuba shops in the area will require the student to provide their own personal gear like the following: Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Booties, and a Weight System. This additional expense could add up to several hundred dollars.

Before the student begins their scuba class the main distinction between masks may only be the color of the mask. However, as the students become familiar with various gear used in class they will be able make educated decisions about the gear that works best for them.

Q. What is wrong with purchasing your personal scuba gear before the start of the class?

A. Nothing, But let me ask you a simple question. Have you ever purchased something that you wish you never had, like a pair of pants that rubs you the wrong way when you walk! Well, wouldn't it be nice to try several types of gear during your class and then make an educated choice.

 Q. The price of the $349.00 for the scuba course sounds great, but I feel that you will pressure me into buying scuba equipment from you.

A. Absolutely not, our money spends just like yours and I can tell you, the only pressure our instructors like is water pressure. Our main objective is to educate you in scuba diving and have an enjoyable experience trained by our quality instructors.

 Q. Again $349.99 sounds so cheap for everything, so will I get a cheap scuba lessons?

A. Absolutely NOT! Short cutting your Scuba Lessons is not an option at Fun 2 Dive Scuba. Quality and safety are our highest priorities and that is a good reason for us to limit our class size to six students. Most scuba shops only offer the required 4 dives, we go one step further and add that one extra boat dive at no extra cost.  A comfortable scuba diver will dive more and hopefully they will dive on our boats from time to time. That is a win-win for everyone.

 Q. Are there any restrictions to who can learn to scuba dive?

A. Yes, you must be at least 10 years of age and be in good health.

Q. I heard your shop is not opened very much, is that true?

A. Currently this is true but we do have special hours by appointment. Our normal hours are Monday - Friday from 5 PM until around 6:30 PM. We are also opened every Saturday from 10AM until 4 PM. The reason is very simple because we dive daily. As many of you know, good help is hard to find, but quality help is even harder to find. Scuba diving is a sport that we love and have a passion for, and we have chosen not to hire cheap help just to keep our shop open.

 Q. I have more questions.

A. Just pick up the phone and call 1-888-588-3483 or better yet stop by.

Bottom Line:

At Fun 2 Dive Scuba we know that we have quality training, and we offer the biggest bang for your buck by giving you.

Smaller Classes = Better Learning.

More Dives = Safer and More Comfortable Divers.

No Gear To Purchase = BIG SAVINGS!

So we encourage you, the New Scuba Diver to talk to other scuba shops and instructors before you make a decision in your dive training. Once you have interviewed your Instructors, then choose the class that fits your comfort level and your needs.

There is a difference between a certification and an education.
