With the summer heat here is has been hard to find manatees, the waters have been dirty due to the weather and storms. A Typical day would be 3 to 5 manatees, in dirty waters. This will stay this way until September.

The warmer weather has the manatees, hard to find. Some days are easier than other. But so far we have at least seen them every day.

The media has blown this oil spill way out of control as of it’s location. It is a real bad deal for the people that is affected, because I think of this as well. What would I do if this would  happen to my business. But right now the west coast of Florida is OIL FREE and I really hope it stays that way

One of the nicest days on the water in a long time. Water was really clear and lots of manatees to be seen. Another nice thing is that we was one of the only people there.. There were a few others in the water, somewhere around 7 people total. 

Jan 28th 2010, The weather was perfect, the water was warm and the manatees where abundant. Total manatees that they swam with was around a 100 and we seen around another 75… Very nice people, just like the rest of our gust. They had a real nice underwater camera from Cannon. Real windy today, started off with only a handful of manatees. Which was really good for the guest. The manatees must have stayed around for around 3 hours… then looking else where when the water was going out we found a herd of around 75 in one location. The air temp was getting a little cooler in the after noon.. another great day!

Fun 2 Dive Scuba’s  New Website is finally finished and hopefully will be live this week, Jan 24th 2010. I am sure we will have some grammar issues and some misspelling for a little while. But it is better than what we had in the past.

Update on the Manatee tours, Capt BIll has reported seeing around 200 manatees today with nice weather.
