This is the tour that made us famous and is clearly the best deal on the refuge. Swim with the gentle manatees in the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge with a small group and an expert guide!
The price includes all of the gear needed for the tour (mask, snorkel, wetsuit). Due to the limited availability and the low price, the seats fill up quickly, so reservations well in advance are highly recommended. Tours are available at 7 a.m., 10 a.m., and 1 p.m. daily, year-round.
Our semi-private manatee swim tours are limited to no more than six guests on a boat. The tour is not much different than our classic manatee tour, and participants visit the same areas of the refuge to swim with the manatees. The difference is this is the smallest group size available.
By having a maximum of six participants in your group, you have more room on the boat, and your guide is able to take more photos of you on your manatee adventure. A small group also makes it more efficient to get on and off the boat and faster and easier to relocate to a new area when the manatees swim away.
